A more collapsed appearance on the cheek can be obtained with the operation (bichectomy) of removing the fat tissue located in the cheek area by incision made from the mouth. At the end of the surgery, a bandage on the cheeks is applied to prevent edema from settling in place of the fat removed. The bandage should be kept for 2 days.
